James was a farmer around Kyneton / Sutton Grange.
On 27 May 1902 James & Jane celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at Sutton Grange, Victoria.[13][14]
James died at Sutton Grange on 27 September 1912, aged 85,[15] and he was buried at Sutton Grange Cemetery.[16][5][17]
