Biography

Born to Nathan Gray and Mary Holibert September 3, 1749 in Fairfield, Connecticut^[1][2]John married Eunice Morehouse on 4 February 1774 in Fairfield, Connecticut^[3][4] In 1800, he receives a distribution from his brother, Solomon's estate.^[5]

His will dated 5 March 1812 and proved on 8 March 1817 in Fairfield mentions wife Eunice, son John, and daughters Anna, and Deborah.^[6]

His inventory was completed in Weston on 28 March 1817.^[7]

In 1817, the estate distribution was set out to the widow, John Gray, Morehouse Gray, Alva Gray, Deborah, wife of Samuel Meeker, and Anna, wife of Joseph Rowland.^[8]
