Biography

As many men of this time had to do Lonnie was to report to Camp Robinson in Little Rock on Aug 28th 1942. But on Aug 27th Lonnie was found dying at his home in Rumley Ar. by family members, he died about 10 minutes later. The coroner reported that poison was probably the cause of death. Lonnie was single and live at home with his elderly parents. It is said that he regretted having to leave his parents. There is a NEWSPAPER CLIPPING in "The Arkansas Gazette" Little Rock, Friday, August 28, 1942
