Lucy was born on Vinalhaven in 1793 to Thomas Cooper and Barbara Douglass.[1]
Lucy married Isaac Packard in 1814 on Vinalhaven.[2]In 1820, they lived in Thomaston with their 3 young children.[3]Isaac died in 1826.
Lucy married Josiah Stimson on Vinalhaven in 1828. [4]in 1830 and 1840, they lived in Vinalhaven.[5][6]In 1850, they lived in North Haven with their 4 children and Lucy's son Francis Packard.[7]In 1860, they lived in Deer Isle with their 3 children.[8]
Lucy died on Deer Isle in 1865 and is buried in Old Settlers Cemetery.[9]
Sarah Pressey, born 1838, died 1865, buried in Old Deer Isle Cemetery, is daughter of Josiah and Lucy (Packard) Stimson. Find A Grave memorial for Sarah Stimpson Pressey lists parents as Lucy N. Cooper Stimpson.
Francis Packard, Lucy's son with Isaac Packard, was living with her and Josiah and their children in 1850.
