Biography

Maiden name as Clark in daughter Alida's reference in the Stillman Genealogy.

In Cuyler, N. Y., of congestion of the lungs, at the residence of her son, Dea. Arza Muncy, March 15th, 1871, Esther C. Muncy, in the 80th year of her age. After a brief illness, this widowed mother has passed away from earth's activities, cared and sorrows, to the rest of the faithful in Christ Jesus. A large circle of relatives and friends were present at the funeral, and there testified their esteem and affection for the deceased. Her evidence of acceptance with God was clear in her last hours, and she fell asleep in the blessed assurance of a part in the resurrection of the just.
