Biography

Lloyd Walter Clark was born on 13 November 1914 in McCook, Red Willow, Nebraska, United States to Augusta Rose Morosic Augusta Rose (Morosic) Hoagland (1892-1988)and Wareham Bartlett Clark’s Wareham Bartlett Clark (1886-1921) son. Lloyd and his two younger brothers, Neil Walton & Keith Lowell, were adopted by Augusta’s second husband Samuel Clinton Hoagland in 1942 February 23.

Lloyd married June Rose Brehm on 16 February 1936 and they had four children three girls and 1 boy). They ran a small motel business for several years and retired early and for the next approximately 30 years pursued their family histories. They published one hard cover book on the Descendants of John Clark (950-pages) and a second soft cover 310-page book on June’s line, Descendants of Johann Heinrich Brehm & Heinrich Dietz.

Lloyd passed away in 2001 in Watsonville, California, United States and is buried with many family members in Memorial Park Cemetery, McCook, Red Willow, Nebraska, United States.
