Elizabeth Choate was born on March 21, 1846 in Lawrence County, Tennessee, United States, daughter of Seth Edward Choate (1819–1883) and Nancy Katherine Atwell (1823–1861).^[1]

Hettie (23) married William R Blundell (19) (born on November 24, 1850 in Missouri, United States) in 1870 in Missouri, USA. Their son was Thomas Martin Blundell (~1874–1948).

Hettie died on April 16, 1907 in Arkansas, United States, aged 61.^[1] She was buried in Knoxville Cemetery, Knoxville, Arkansas.
