Biography

Antoine Chebrat was a miller, and lived in 1650, at the windmill of La Chaussée , parish de Saires, in Anjou, France. He married Francoise Chaumoret and together the couple had seven children: Francois, Etienne, Piere, Jeanne (b. 5 Feb 1627 at La Chausssé), Mathurine, Marguerite, and Philippe. Antoine died before January 15 1662 but it is unclear if he ever lived in Acadie. ^[1]His daughter Jeanne emigrated to Acadie.
