Biography

NOTE: The following input for Robert's baptism is a "best-guess" based on date/location. It's not an ideal/obvious fit, but is the closest match based on available data. Knaresborough Yorkshire is only 12 miles south of Ripon.

Robert Browne was born in Knaresborough July 1562. His father was Robert Browne Sr; mother unknown. Robert Jr married Katherine Wells in Ripon July 15/1595. They had many children incl Elizabeth Browne b Sept 1603 in Ripon.
