Charles Leslie Brown was born on October 25, 1879 in Oxley, Colony of Victoria, son of George Harry Brown (1835–1913) and Rebecca Graham (1845–1915).[1]
Charles (28) married Mary May Doig (21) (born on September 29, 1886 in Oxley; daughter of William Reid Doig and Mary (Humphrey) Doig) in 1908. Their children were:
