Bozetech was born in 1895 to Joseph Bren and Zofie Horusicka in Racine, Wisconsin. From 1905 to 1911, they were living in Hopkins, Minnesota. By 1915, his parents were living in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
In 1916, Bozetech earned a BS in Chemistry from the University of Chicago. In 1917, he was an Assistant in the Chemistry Department at University of Minnesota.
During WWI, Bozetech served in the Chemical Warfare Service from Feb 1918 to Jan 1919.
In 1919, he was chemist working in Long Island City, New York. In 1920, Bozetech may have been working at Yale University.
In 1926, he earned a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, which is about 30 miles south of Cedar Rapids where his parents were living.
For two years from 1926 to 1928, Bozetech was Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Three of his students earned master's degrees: Warren Steinbach, Jr., George Wilder, and Eleanor Bartholomew.
From 1929 to 1960, Bozetech worked for DuPont in Arlington, New Jersey.
In 1972, Bozetech passed away in San Antonio, Texas, and is buried in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pudil of Cedar Rapids, la., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Lillian, to Dr. B. C Brenn of Lincoln. The wedding will take place at 4 o'clock on the afternoon of Aug. 24 at the home of the bride's parents. Miss Pudil is a former student of Coe college at Cedar Rapids. Doctor Brenn received a Ph. D. degree from the University of Iowa. He is an Instructor of chemistry at the University of Nebraska.

Dr. Bozetech C. Bren, an organic chemist in the research and development division of the Du Pont Company's polychemicals department at the Experimental Station, retires today after 31 years with the company.
Dr. Bren of 1510 Fresno Road, Green Acres, joined Du Pont in 1929 at the Arlington, N. J., plant. In the course of his career, he studied or directed studies in a number of research areas. The first united States patent on a non-discoloring, non-separating safety glass interlayer prepared from cellulose acetate was issued in his name.
Born in Racine, Wis., Dr. Bren received a B. S. degree in organic chemistry from the University of Chicago and in 1926 a doctor of philosophy degree in organic chemistry, from the University of Iowa. For three years he was instructor in organic chemistry and was in charge of all organic laboratories at the University of Nebraska.
He is a member of the American Chemical Society; Sigma Xi honor scientific society; Gamma Alpha, graduate scientific fraternity; Alpha Chi Sigma, professional chemistry fraternity; and Alpha Sigma Phi, social fraternity.
