Minnie (Bell) Crooks was born in Ireland.

Minnie Brown(e) Bell was born 1 Sep 1883 at Tamlaghtmore, Derryloran. She was the daughter of Joseph Bell and Mary Ann Henry. ^[1]

On 4 August 1915 at Magherafelt Presbyterian Church (Union Rd), she married John Crooks of Dunman, Derryloran, son of Samuel Crooks, farmer, deceased. Witnessed by Isaac Houston Henry and Agnes Bell. ^[2]

She passed away suddenly on 30 April 1942 at her residence in Dunman, and was interred in Cookstown Cemetery. The chief mourners were: ^{[3] [4]}
