Thanks for the information on the Houldin family I am linked via Herbert Houldin his daughter Sarah Elizabeth was my Grandmother. Herbert being son of Daniel Houldin and grandson of Henry Houldin.

Good Evening - I have done a great deal of research on Henry Augustus Dasher, II. Although official records indicate he was born in Nova Scotia, Canada, I am certain he was born on the Dasher Slave Plantation in Augusta, Georgia, escaped slavery, made his way to Canada, and from then on hide his original birthplace. The best evidence is his daughter's (Jane Dasher) emigration from Birkenhead, England to Worcester, Massachusetts. Adopted by William Douglas and his wife Elizabeth Everett. Elizabeth Everett's grandmother was Eliza Dasher born 1824, Augusta, Georgia. Eliza Dasher was the daughter of Thomas J. My grandfather was Peter or Peter Daniel Peach, I believe he was born around 1900. He married Johanna Hendrika

Kapp in Knysna. Have you any information on them. I believe he was a dependent of the 1820 settlers in South Africa.

Have you made any connection with Edward Cocker , the mathematician, 1631-1676 known to be in London England circa 1660s

Have you been able to make any connection with the COKER's of Somerset and the West country of England where they were prevelant from circa 1100 to 1600
