My interest in genealogy started with hearing interesting stories about my family (Research into maternal side has unearthed really cool stuff on my New England ancestors.) Ancestral surnames include Kelsey, Munger, Ruggles, and Shackleton.

Thanks for working on Ann (Babcock) Dusenbery!

Looks like she probably will end up descending from the Haverstraw Babcocks (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Babcock-3272) who are a bit a challenge to trace, so any insight you have on them added to wikitree is much appreciated. Please feel free to edit out any research notes I leave that are no longer relevant, or make corrections as you see fit. I amended her profile to reflect your knowledge that the indexed Obituary record at Family Search had some mix up of relations. Also added a bit about the family cemetery for Matthias's farm, but would love to find a birth or death record positively proving he was Ann's father, rather than speculating.
