Emily (Ashley) Adams was a Kentuckian.

Emily Artemesia left her husband Richard Stanley in Kentucky. Artemesia's children with Richard Stanley were Richard Kirland Stanley born 1875, Ida Frances Stanley born 1876, Green Stanley born circa 1877, and William Uriah Stanley born 1879. No records were found for Green who according to family died in 1882; he would have been named after Artemesia's brother William Green Ashley.
