G. Ilene Haines
A celebration of life will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Eugene for G. Ilene Haines of Eugene, who died Nov. 17 of age-related causes. She was 87.
She was born on June 28, 1923, in Eugene to Marius and Ella Larsen Andersen. She married James Haines on Jan. 25, 1946, in Eugene.
She graduated from Eugene High School. She worked for Pacific Northwest Bell Telephone Company and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Kathy Haines of Eugene; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A daughter, Cheryl Schworm, died previously.
Burial will be at West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene. Arrangements by Andreason's Cremation & Burial Service in Springfield. Remembrances to Bethesda Lutheran Church.
