You will want to read this After Adopting Orphans as it explains the special attention adopted profiles will sometimes need from their profile managers. You may also want to go through the new member help on How to manage your Watchlist. You will want to add your sources to the Pre-1700 profiles you have adopted as many of them are not appropriately sourced. Thank you for helping to improve those profiles.

Welcome to the Orr network. I have several pieces about our history on the site. It appears we were Norwegian and came to Lochwinnoch somewhere between 800-1100 AD with the first known birth being around 1050. We are still debating on where the Orr name originated as surnames were not in common use until the 13th century. Since there is a lake and a river named Urr(Orr) that is one possibility.

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
