Biography
This profile is part of the Allen Name Study.
Joseph, the son of Joseph and Patience Bourne Allen, was born at Tisbury in July of 1723.[1] He married Patience Nye at Barnstable in 1746.[2]
Children included:
- Zadock Allen (1762 - 1797)
- Joseph Allen (1764 - 1852)
- Mary Allen (1770 - 1833)
He died in 1798 and buried at West Tisbury Village Cemetery, West Tisbury, Dukes County, Massachusetts.[3]
