You have to go to gedmatch.com and join. They need your raw DNA and you can also submit a gedcom which is optional. There is also the option to link your WikiTree ID.

Suzan, I have helped many people upload to GEDmatch.  See my instructions at

Hi Suzan,

You already have a GEDmatch ID on your profile, which means that you already have uploaded your DNA data to that site. (Aside: If you have not read-up on the recently disclosed privacy situation with with GEDmatch, I encourage you to do so.)

So I suspect that you mean to connect your Ancestry DNA test results here on WikiTree. There isn't a kit number for that. The connection can be accomplished by going to this link: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:DNATests

  1. There you will find a drop-down menu.
  2. Select "AncestryDNA".
  3. Next, optionally, type in comments in the text box.
  4. Finally, click "Add test for Suzan Adams". You're done!

You will have added your AncestryDNA test. That's all it takes.

This will flag profiles that you're connected to so others who might have taken an Ancestry DNA test, and who match you, will be able to figure out the connection. And perhaps take the next steps to apply DNA Confirmation to your ancestors.
