Jamie Nelson is a Wonderful WikiTreer!

Question

Jamie Nelson is the WikiTree tech who does most of the heavy lifting needed to keep the website running properly and who carries almost all of the workload to address bugs and make requested improvements. And she consistently maintains a pleasant and friendly demeanor in the face of the complaints and demands she gets from the rest of us (other WikiTreers are not always diplomatic when we describe problems that need resolution or improvements that we would like to see).

Since Jamie is a member of the Team, I know she gets paid, but I have a strong hunch that she isn't paid as generously as she probably deserves, and that much of her motivation for her work comes from her love for WikiTree. After all, she started out here as a regular member who probably had no inkling that she would be making WikiTree into a career!

Jamie Nelson is truly a Wonderful WikiTreer for all that she does here.

I do really love genealogy and am happy I've been given an opportunity to improve WikiTree and also to connect with other tech people in the industry (and I've met so many awesome WikiTreers in person too)!

And it's definitely not just me that keeps things running smoothly -- the rest of the Tech Team, the Apps Project members, people who answer tech questions, everyone that reports bugs or makes feature suggestions -- all are super important to making sure WikiTree keeps improving.
