Biography
Margaret Young was the daughter of Rev Gavin Young at one time the minister at Ruthwell, Dumfries. She was born about 1617.
She died in May 1665 and was buried in Ruthwell. There is,( or was in 1893), the remains of a monument to Margaret Young, in Ruthwell, (between Annan and Dumfries).
Heir lyes Margaret Young, spous to Edward Carlile of Limekilns, deceased May 24, 1665, of her age 48.
