Biography

Andrew Young was born October 1, 1847 in Hancock County, Virginia. He moved with his parents and siblings to Island Creek, Jefferson, Ohio before 1870. He practiced dentistry. He married Sarah Jane (Carnahan) Ault on October 2, 1879 in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. They lived in Island Creek, Jefferson, Ohio. He died May 8, 1913 in Toronto, Ohio and is buried in Toronto Union Cemetery.

Andrew Young was a dentist. His obituary said he "took up the study of dentistry with Dr. Tiffany of Wellsville who formerly conducted offices in Toronto, and for the past 37 years has practiced dentistry in offices at his home."
