Biography
Katherine was born in 1710. She was baptised on 11th February 1710 at Pott Shrigley, Cheshire, England as the daughter of Thomas Turner.[1]
In 1735 she married George Unwin.[2]
She passed away in 1762 and was buried on 14th September 1762 at Prestbury, Cheshire, England.[3] Her Will and subsequent probate (granted in 1763) records her as a widow and her eldest son (executor) as James Unwin, farmer. Other children recorded on the document were George Unwin (cordwainer), Edward Unwin and Mary Unwin.[4]
