My suspicion is that this Fisher Clendenin was the son of Fisher Clendenin (1776-1815) and Anna Bradshaw (1780-1852). In support of this is, first, the 1850 US Census:
"1850 United States Federal Census," database with images, The National Archives in Washington D.C.; Record Group: Records of the Bureau of the Census; Record Group Number: 29; Series Number: M432; Residence Date: 1850; Home in 1850: South District, Alamance, North Carolina; Roll: 619; Page: 19a; Line Number: 13, Ancestry Sharing Link - Ancestry Record 8054 #12538566 (accessed 4 April 2024), Fisher Clendenin (39), Farmer, in South District, Alamance, North Carolina, USA. Born in North Carolina.
Fisher, 39, is in dwelling 269. In dwelling 271 is a George Clendenin, 44, with his wife Mary, and in dwelling 272 is single head-of-household Jane Clendenin, 52, and in the household is 67-year-old Letitia Bradshaw.
Fisher Clendenin the elder (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Clendenin-52) made his will 19 April 1811 and named his son, Fisher:
His wife Ann and William Bradshaw were appointed executors; the will was witnessed by Leonard Prather and James Turner.
The families are obviously intertwined but, in all, it seems highly unlikely that James Turner was the biological father of Fisher Clendenin, and that Clendenin-525 should probably be disconnected from Turner-35199.
Also a small observation: Fisher Clendenin-525 is shown as having been born in Alamance County, North Carolina, in 1807. Alamance County was not formed until 1849.
