In 1910, John (33), Josephine (33), and their two children, Richard (8) & Bonnie (3), were living in Durango. John was working as a Real Estate Agent.[7]
In 1918, while living in Durango and working for an insurance agency, John (41) registered for the WWI draft. He was disqualified from serving due to having lost his left leg.[1]
In 1920, John (44), Josephine (43), Richard (17) & Bonnie (33), were living in Durango and John was managing a real estate office.[8]
In 1930, John (52) & Josephine (52) were living in Durango. John was still working as a real estate agent.[9]
In 1940, John (62) & Josephine (62) were still living in Durango and John was working in insurance.[10]
John became a widower in about 1941 with the death of Josephine.
In 1942, John (64), still living in Durango, registered for the WWII draft.
John married his second wife, Newton Pollock, in June of 1946.[1][3]
In 1950, John (72) & Newton (61) were living in Durango and John was now working in securities and investments.[11]
According to his World War I draft registration, he was of medium height and build. Also he "lost left leg."[1]
