Biography

When Benjamin Turner was born in 1697 in Connecticut, his father, John Turner, was 43 and his mother, Elizabeth Barber, was 37. ^[1] He married Martha (Chapman) Turner on March 31, 1720, in Killingworth, Connecticut. ^[2] They had nine children in 19 years. He died on November 25, 1776, in Killingworth, Connecticut, having lived a long life of 79 years, and was buried there.^[3]
