Albert Taylor, 93, 1455 Shafer Rd, died Thursday, Dec 30 at home after an extended illness.

Mr Taylor was born Dec 25, 1889 in Monroe County to John A Taylor and Eva E Rubel Taylor Betts. He was married August 29, 1916 to Esta M Bintz, who survives.

Mr Taylor is survived by four children, Mrs Marvin (Ruth) Kalb of Bucyrus, Lester of Sarasota, Fla, Kenneth of Bucyrus and Calvin of Boulder, Colo., 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Also surviving are a half brother, Theodore Betts of Tiro, two sisters, Mrs Barbara Kurzen of Shelby and Mrs Alden (Rose) Loomis of La Mesa, Calif, and a half sister, Mrs Sara Graham of Shelby. He was preceded in death by three brothers, two half brothers and one sister.

Mr Taylor moved to the Bucyrus area in 1921 from Monroe County. He had attended a business school in Wheeling, W Va. He retired from farming in 1962 and then worked for Swan Rubber Company until retiring from there in 1965.

Mr Taylor was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and the King's Volunteeers Sunday School Class and was a former member of the Holmes-Loberty and Sulphur Springs Granges.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 pm in the Wise Funeral Home. Rev E Parker West and Rev Gerald D Kalb will officiate and burial will be in Brokensword Cemetery.

Friends may call any time after noon Sunday at the Wise Funeral Home, where the family will receive callers from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Those who desire to do so may make memorial contributions to the Epworth United Methodist Church Renovation Fund.
