Katherine was born in 1875. Her parents are Micheal Smith/Schmitt and Anna Luke.^[1]

Death and Burial

Death: Catherine died 18 May 1906 in Moran.

Obituary: "May 21- Mrs. Mike Biermaier died Friday. The funeral was held at Browerville, Monday and the remains laid to rest in the cemetery there. Deceased was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Smith, well known here. She leaves a husband and four children, the youngest of which is but a month old. The family have the sympathy of the entire community."^[3]

Burial: Catherine was buried at Christ the King Cemetery in Browerville.^[4]
