In 2001, I sat down with my parents and had them give me as much information on our Family History as they could remember. Any reference to Family History as sources will be primarily from the notes I took over the few days we talked. Most of these records have been verified and/or corrected by vital records like birth, marriage and death records from Texas as my family is primarily in Texas. My main family tree is located on MyHeritage.com and if you wish access, send me a note.

Also, a recent trip to Scotland has ignited my desire to trace my family back there as the Sims name is supposed to be a sept of the clan Fraser of Lovat. Any information on the Sims or McCord (my wife's family) coming from Scotland and/or Northern Ireland would be greatly appreciated.
