Brian was born in the spring of 1977 in the little city of Rutland, VT. A first child to Brian C. Shaw Sr. and Bonnie Lou (Johnson) Shaw.
Still upright and kicking. Check back later.
Brian married April May (Webb) Shaw on the 18th of February 1995.
In the late 80's Brian left his home town and his family to attend school where he studied what he would later find to be a near lost art called conventional stripping where negatives are arranged in patterns to create printed pages. He did however have the opportunity to work with computers which would become useful later in life. While attending the school he also traveled with a color guard as their photographer/videographer and seamster. He picked up the trumpet and played the third then first chair respectively in the Vermont All-State 3 years in a row. He also played french horn at the First Baptist church in Bellows Falls, VT.
When Brian returned to his home years had passed. He started to attend a normal high school and barely 3 months into the 9th grade one of his teachers ran him over. He never returned to school after that though his desire to learn was not blemished. He continued to learn by educating himself in the art of computer programming and hardware development.
In the early 1990's, Brian discovered a love for entertaining audiences while he was djing a private party held for a group of investors for the school he was attending. Since then his love for entertainment and the arts had grown and he continued to perform in staged performances, weddings, private parties, movies and other venues as Brian Shaw or under the name Asylum Entertainment for 25 years.
Some of Brian's entertainment career achievements:

Abbott-2187 2nd cousin 10 times removed - Nehemiah Abbott was arrested for Witchcraft Apr 21, 1692. He was the only person released after refusing to confess.
Hood-170 2nd cousin 11 times removed - Sarah was tried for witchcraft in Salem 23 May 1692 and sent to Boston Prison, where she was kept until 3 Dec, seven months. The next daughter which she had after her imprisonment she called "Deliverance." There is a record of nine pounds allowed to Sarah Basset as compensation for her imprisonment for witchcraft.
"Sarah, was also arrested, tortured and tried for witchcraft. Finally, William Sr. & Sarah’s daughter Mary, wife of Michael De Rich, was also arrested, tortured and tried for witchcraft. Why this family was so plagued by this hysteria would make for an interesting investigation. The only clue I have is William Bassett, Sr.’s signature on a petition against John Hathorne for serving strong drink. I believe that either this John Hathorne or a near relative was the same John Hathorne who was one of the Salem Hysteria judges."
Burroughs-971 6th cousin 13 times removed - In May 1692, during the Salem witch trials, based on the accusation of some of his personal enemies from his former congregation who had sued him for debt, Burroughs was arrested and charged, among other offenses, with extraordinary weight lifting (lifted a musket with a finger in the barrel), and such feats of strength as could not be done without diabolical assistance. George Burroughs was executed on Witches Hill, Salem, on 19 August 1692, the only minister who suffered this extreme fate. Although the jury had found no witches' marks on his body he was nonetheless convicted of witchcraft and conspiracy with the Devil. While standing on a ladder before the crowd, waiting to be hanged, he successfully recited the Lord's Prayer, something that was generally considered by the Court of Oyer and Terminer to be impossible for a witch to do. After he was hanged, Cotton Mather, a minister from Boston, reminded the crowd from atop his horse that Burroughs had been convicted in a court of law, and spoke convincingly enough that four more were executed after Burroughs.
Carter-31627 2nd cousin 10 times removed - On 14 May 1692, she was accused by Lieutenant Nathaniel Ingersoll and Sergeant Thomas Putnam, Jr. for “for high Suspition of Sundry acts of Witchcraft...Committed or donne lately on the body of Ann puttnam Marcy Lewis Mary Walcot And Abigail Williams & others of Salem Village, whereby much hurt is donne to their bodyes, therefore Craves Justice."
Churchill-1648 14th cousin 10 times removed - Sarah was both an accuser, showing symptoms of "affliction", and became one of the accused. Foulds says that Sarah admitted that she had faked her seizures. But once she did, she was accused of "signing the Devil's Book" by the other afflicted girls. She then accused Jacobs and his granddaughter Margaret of forcing her to sign the Devil's Book. She went on to implicate several other people as part of the trials.
Hazeltine-1 8th great grand aunt - one of several members of the family of (her father-in-law) Reverend Francis Dane who were involved in the Salem Witch Trials. Deliverance was arrested and questioned. She confessed and implicated Francis, though he was never arrested or tried. Unfortunately, the records of her arrest and examinations have been lost. An account of her confession was printed in 1867.
Deliverance and her husband Nathaniel were used as characters in the fictionalized account of the trials found in Katherine Howes novel The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane, though the story in the novel does not match the known details of Deliverance's life.
Higginson-24 13th cousin 11 times removed - 1692 Anna Dolliver was accused of witchcraft and imprisoned. In 1696 she and her children were living with her father, when he refers to her as "crazed in her understanding".
Farrington-247 2nd cousin 11 times removed - September 17, 1692, Edward was indicted twice by a grand jury for Witchcraft. One "for Covenantin with the Devill" and one for "aflicting Mary Warren."
Potter-2249 9th great grand aunt - arrested for witchcraft in September, 1692 and imprisoned for 15 weeks. There is no record that she was ever tried.
Hutchinson-651 1st cousin 11 times removed - February 1655 Elizabeth was brought before the church "for varied sinfulness in not harboring travellers that were in danger of their lives, and for offensive words spoken to them."
She gave small signs of true repentance, but the next Lord's Day she was again called forth and and again showed signs of repentance. She was again called about two weeks later when she gave some satisfaction; orig. source; Church Records of the old town of Reading)
Elizabeth was accused of witchcraft and sent to prison in Boston on May 18, 1692 and held there until December 1692 at which time the sheriff of Boston presented his bill for food and care during her months in prison.
Osgood-540 7th great grand aunt - one of many in Andover to be accused of witchcraft. A complaint was filed against her in August 1692. She made a full confession and then spent 20 weeks in jail. By the time her case was brought to trial in early 1693 things had changed and she was found not guilty. She died of unknown causes a few years later.
Clement-93 9th great grand aunt - described as a remarkably pious and good woman, she was accused of witchcraft. When she was examined, she was 55 years old. Though it is known that she spent some time in jail, she was later released, probably on bond.
Ayers-988 9th great grand aunt - a middle-aged widow whose only crime was sharing the same name with another widow (Mary Stevens Parker) from Andover whose late husband (Joseph Parker) and son (Thomas Parker) had both been mentally unstable. Hanged as a witch and died on September 22, 1692 at Proctor's Ledge, Gallows Hill, Salem, Massachusetts Bay
Elizabeth Knapp 8th great grandmother - October 1671 she was taken after strange behavior like weeping, laughing and roaring, with violent agitations, crying out Money! Money!
Alden-6 10th great grandfather - May 28, 1692 Captain Alden was summoned by magistrates of Salem to answer an accusation of witchcraft. He "was confronted by a lot of wenches whom he had never before seen, and accused of bewitching them." One of the accusers first identified the wrong man, but was corrected by that same man, and she then pointed to Alden. She stated, "There stands Alden, a bold fellow with his hat on, sells powder and shot to the Indians, lies with the sqaws and has papooses." He was jailed. The other accusers claimed that Alden pinched them when he was standing at a distance from them. Even one of the judges, Bartholomew Gedney, said he had known Capt. Alden for years and had thought him an honest man, but now was changing his mind. Alden was told to look at his accusers, and they fell down on the floor. He was committed to a Boston jail with no bail. He was imprisoned for 15 weeks. Friends convinced him to escape and absent himself until the situation had cooled down. There were about 100 people then accused and imprisoned for witchcraft. He escaped just before the execution of nine victims, and perhaps went back to relatives in Duxbury. He returned to Court in Boston in April 1693, turned himself in, but no one appeared to prosecute. He and 150 others were discharged.
