Biography

Lida was born on Christmas Day 1893 in Dora, Missouri.^[1] She wanted to marry Thomas Owens but her father refused until she helped him get the crops in. They finally married in February 1912 and had 4 children.^[2]

According to her daughter, she loved to work outdoors and hated housework. Within 5 minutes of passing through her door, you were eating, drinking, and laughing. They moved to Lodi, California in 1952 and lived there the rest of their lives. She passed away in 1983.^[3][4]
