Biography

To date there is no confirmed birth for John Reid and I have never been able to find a OPR for his birth or death. I would assume that he was born in North Ayrshire, likely Stevenston and died there as well. The family lived generations in Stevenston.

Jane Hamilton, his wife was widowed on the 1819 Rev Landsborough Parish List in Stevenston Ayrshire
