Gary, thank you so much for your hard work on our PINSON family tree. You recently edited WILLIAM, ELIJAH, and AUGUSTUS FRANK PINSON - they’re all my direct ancestors. I’m new here with limited entries, but your work gives me confidence going forward.
Me>my Dad Robert L. Pinson-1226 >Robert Houston Pinson-1227 >William J. - Pinson-1228 >Elijah - Pinson-1298> Augustus Frank Pinson-1054, etc.

I noted that you have marked some relationships as Confirmed by DNA. At WikiTree we have very specific requirements to be able to mark a relationship in that manner. Please make sure to read through https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:DNA_Confirmation. Any confirmation beyond 3 cousins requires triangulation.
My name is Sharon Pinson. I am a Reading Specialist at the Lincoln School in Marion, Illinois. My grandfather was Frank Pinson. His father was Samuel. His father was Aaron and I am pretty sure his father was Allen. I have a picture of who I was told is Aaron Pinson. One of my Grandpa's brothers was Forrest Aaron Pinson. I was told by one of the janitors in our school system that we were probably related. There are no other Pinsons
in our town. She mentioned the name Belcher and King. I found those names mentioned in Allen Pinson's info. My grandfather Frank died at an age of 41. He married Minnie Ollis. Their only child was my dad, Loren Pinson, who was a 40+ school teacher and administrator.

I am a Hunt, but from a different line, Dr. Thomas Hunt of Bedford County, Virginia (I also have lots of Laurens County, SC connections as well, but no Pinson that I know of, yet). I wanted to say thanks for joining WikiTree and look forward to seeing your work on the Memucan Hunt lines. We have a Hunt Name Study on the go if you would like to create some research pages for your line.
