Margaret was born on 23 January 1833 and baptised on 10 January 1834 in Glenmuick, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. She is the daughter of John Paterson and Elizabeth Forbes. [1]
She married Alexander Paterson Reid son of Alexander Reid and Mary McDonald , on 31 October 1852, in Edinburgh, Midlothian Scotland. [2]
