Thanks for all your work. When you get a chance to look, I believe Simon Moser has three profiles. (Moser -606, 1259 and 1714) There was an 11 yr old Simon Moser on the ship Adventurer in 1732. Also an Eve Moser, listed as age 56 , although her dates could be a few years off, or even a typo.

Perry: I have looked at the three profiles and agree. I have merged my Simon (1714) with 606, which had no profile manager. The new profile is Moser-606. I have initiated a merge with the other profile, so hopefully the manager will agree.

I do not have anything else to add to this person. If you have a Source for the arrival of 11-yo Simon, please add it to Moser-606. I am only the PM because at one time I had these Mosers in my Ancestry tree and they were imported with my Gedcom. I, like you, tried to sort them out, but to no avail.

Apparently there is a woman working on the attached mother of Simon Moser and the entire family. Please see the note on the mother’s profile and respect the work Holly is doing to sort out this family. From notes I have read, there were not only parents and children on the ship, but also adult children with their parents and children, adult siblings with their families, etc. So the ages are difficult to go by.

I am not planning to do any further work on this family; hopefully Holly will be able to sort them with the access she has to Moser research. I have asked Holly to let me know if I should remove myself as PM from any of these Mosers. But if you want to initiate a any other merges, please follow the WikiTree instructions for doing so.

Thanks!

Hi, Nancy. Thanks for merging the two profiles for Andreas Noll. Now we can focus on finding more reliable sources for information about his life.

Nice to find another cousin. I am also descended from Andreas and Killian Noll - through Killian's son Peter.

Welcome to the community, Nancy. My mother (Noll-142) was a 2X-Noll - two different Noll family lines. I'll look forward to seeing if your tree and mine interconnect at some point!

I have been researching my family tree since 2009. I believe that sharing our information helps us find our own ancestry, as well as helping others to find theirs.

Hi again Nancy,

I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step of the process including screenshots that you might find helpful.

The help pages give lots of information about the process, best to start with 'Before you import a GEDCOM'.

Happy Hunting,

Jess

Hello Nancy,

Welcome to WikiTree! This initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site you’ve ever used.

WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!

What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? When you confirm your email address, you’ll see a Volunteer option on your profile page. Click that and leave us a short message about your genealogical interests. A Greeters Project volunteer will be happy to confirm your membership, and you’ll be on your way!

Welcome to the family! We’re really glad you’re here.
