Biography
John was born to Hugh Miller (mother unknown due to lack of records), about 1830. He lived in Drumrooghil townland, Ematris Parish Co Monaghan. In 1854 he married Elizabeth Breakey, also of Drumrooghill townland. In 1873, as a widower, John Miller (father Hugh Miller) m Eliza Miller, father John Miller, both parties of Drumrooghil, so presumably cousins.
