99% sure we came from the townland of Derreenatlooig, in Tuosist Parish, County Kerry , Ireland. The baptismal birth records of my great grandfather and his two sisters are documented there, with both parents. There were McCarthys and Sullivans in that townland, and also the adjacent townland of Kilmakilloge in Griffiths Evaluation in the 1840's. I do NOT have any record of the births, and marriage, of Patrick McCarthy and Julia Sullivan, my g-g-gparents. There was a Felix, Florence, Sylvester, and Julia McCarthy that had children in the same place, in the same time frame, that are likely relatives. I have tracked 200 descendants of those people, but have found only one person that appears to be related to them via dna.
