Early Life

Jean Samuel King was born on 25 Apr 1863 in Yarmouth, Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, son of Cereno King and Annie Tinkham. He went by John later in life.

John married Madeleine Leonice Doucet in about 1885.[1] (see notes)

They had the following children:

  1. David William King (1888–1942)[2][3][4]
  2. John Simon King (1889–1977)[5][6]

Death

John died on 2 Jan 1890 in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. He was buried in Sainte-Anne Parish Cemetery, Sainte-Anne-du-Ruisseau, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia.[1]

Research Notes

Findagrave states that they married in 1885 but there are no documents stating such. John (Jean) was living at home in 1881 and they had their first child by 1888 so 1885 does fit.
