After a long break, we are now getting the New Zealand Project back in action. Would you like to join the Kiwi Crew Discord server? This is where we are discussing how the project will be organised, though any major changes will be signposted in G2G. There is no obligation to take part in challenges, but you may like to discuss NZ history and work with others to create quality New Zealand profiles. We’re a really friendly bunch.
Fiona New Zealand - Project Co-ordinator (Membership)
Hi Stephen,
I would like to invite you to join the KiwiCrew in the upcoming Connect-A-Thon. Participation is easy, simply create new profiles for unconnected people and with luck, they will connect with the World Tree.
Simply post an answer on this Post saying "Yes, I'd like to participate with the KiwiCrew". Once registered, you will receive your Connect-a-Thon badge.
For more information, view the Kiwi Crew Team page
Happy WikiTreeing, Campbell
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working with members of the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.
Sources are very important here on Wikitree, especially on Pre-1700 profiles. It is how we show where we got the info and help others find it too. Find out more about sources here and more detailed info here.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus. Review the project pages for special guidelines and to learn how to collaborate with the project members.
Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. To contact me, log in to WikiTree and go to your profile. Use the ‘Reply’ link below my comment to be sure that I will be notified. You can also click my name to send a private message, or post a comment on my profile page.

As part of a revitalization effort for the New Zealand Project, we are checking-in with members to see if they are planning to remain active and make project-specific contributions in the upcoming months.
If you have other obligations at the moment and would like to be removed from the project at this time, you will always be welcome to rejoin if you find yourself with more time and interest later.
All of us at WikiTree would like to thank you for your contributions and hope that you are enjoying exploring your roots.
Please respond by commenting on my profile or sending a private message. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few features you may find useful.
Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards .
If you need to describe an event, heirloom or a location relevant to your research, try Free Space Profiles .
If you run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving these unfortunate situations.
A project of note is the Global Family Reunion check it out at Global Family Reunion.

Our Honor Code, G2G forum, help pages, search features, and many other useful links can be accessed from the menus on the upper right corner of most pages. If you click on 'Find', 'Projects' you will see our Scottish Clans group. :)
Please consider stopping by the Tree House to introduce yourself.
VERY IMPORTANT: The more documents, sources, dates, and locations you provide on the profiles you create, the stronger your branches and our mutual global tree will be. If you don't know the correct date, please estimate using before or after.
Thank you for helping in our mission to build a global tree with only ONE profile per person.
Hope you enjoy WikiTree!
