Elizabeth was born in 1900 in York County, South Carolina. She was the daughter of James Greene and Katie Murrell. ^[1][2]

She married Garland Wilkie on December 20, 1914 in Rutherford County, North Carolina. ^{[3][4][5][6][7]} Together they had the following children:

1. Robert George Wilkie ^[4][5][7]
2. Alice Wilkie ^[5]
3. Joe Wilkie ^[5][6][8]

She passed away in 1954. ^[2] She was buried in Race Path Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellenboro, North Carolina.
