Picture scanned from a family collection of scanned photos, part of research done by Henry William Mace Link to Henry William Mace. Peter Green is understood to have served as Quartermaster Gunner on HMS Victory at the Battle of Trafalgar with Admiral Lord Nelson in 1805. Also have a caption to a picture of him which says he kissed George the Third. Another family tree says Captain Peter Green who lived at Upwey, near Weymouth. I can find no record of a Peter Green at the Battle of Trafalgar - National Archives
