Biography
Born and bred in London, I have now moved back to my (or one of my) ancestral home of Devon. I'm a member of Cornwall Family History Society, Devon Family History Society and the Guild of One Name Studies.
As well as researching my own family history, I also run two One Name Studies, Gimblett (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Gimblett_Name_Study) and Doidge (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Doidge_Name_Study), for which I would encourage you to have a look at and help out if you can. I also help out with the Lewis One Name Study (https://lewis.one-name.net/), researching the Devon part of it.

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s VERY IMPORTANT to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
