Agnes was the daughter of John Day and Arabella Godfrey.

Agnes married James Butler in 1817.

She died in 1829.

Death Notice - 18 July 1829, Kerry Evening Post, Tralee

on Tuesday last in Cork, after a tedious illness borne with fortitude and resignation, at the early age of 29, Mrs. Butler, wife of James Butler, Esq., of Waterville, and daughter of the late Rev. John Day, of Kiltalla, a lady whose premature death is a source of the most poignant grief to her afflicted family and respectable connections.
