Biography
John was the son of Joseph & Phoebe Dawson. He is found in census records in England. The family lived in Almondbury, South Crosland, Yorkshire, England.[1]
John emigrated to the U.S. in 1878 per immigration records, with his daughter Annie. I have not found a marriage record for him, but family lore states her name was Anna Ryan.
John died on 21 July 1895 and was buried on 24 July 195in Greenwood Cemetery, Phila., PA[2][3]
