Biography

Moses was born in 1852. He was the son of Joel and Roxana (Kirkland) Davis. He is listed with his parents on both: the 1860 Census^[1] and the 1870 Census.^[2] He was first married to Mary Jane Meeks on December 14, 1871^[3] and they are listed together on the 1880 Census (listed in the research notes). After Mary Jane passed away in 1894; he was remarried. He married Louisa Little on November 1, 1896 in Ware, Georgia.^[4] He passed away in 1923 at the age of 71. ^[5]
