Biography

Irving Slade Davis, son of David Davis and Helen Bailey, was born October 15, 1879 at Monticello, Minnesota. Irving was married three times. He married first, Gertrude Bryant October 15, 1901 at Monticello. They were divorced after the birth of their son Melvin. Irving married 2nd Anna Peters on March 24, 1914 at Los Angeles, California. She died March 24, 1976 at Capitola, California. There is a 3rd marriage recorded for Irving S Davis in California to Ann James or Melloch on May 1, 1977 at Santa Cruz. Irving died February 15, 1982 in his home in Santa Cruz, California. He was 102. His obituary names his wife Ann as surviving Irving.
