Biography
When Mary Collins was born in 1795, her father, Lewis, was 41, and her mother, Mrs, was 35. She married Daniel Jarvis in 1813 in Giles, Virginia. They had nine children:
- Seny Jarvis, 816–1869
- Mary Jane Jarvis, 1818–1900
- Sarah Sally Jarvis, 1821–1904
- Samuel Hezekia Jarvis, 1823–1898
- Joel Jarvis, 1825–1864
- Nancy Jarvis, 1827–1908
- Lewis Monroe Jarvis, 1829–1915
- Esther Jarvis, 1832–1913
- Eliza Ann Jarvis, 1838–1923
She died in 1885 at the impressive age of 90, and was buried in Hancock, Tennessee.[1]
