Biography
François Charles was born 10 Oct 1779 and was baptized the same day in Montmagny (St-Thomas). He was the son of Jacques Colin and Marie Geneviève Lemieux. [1]
On 10 Jan 1815, in Montmagny (St-Thomas), François Collins adult son of the late Jacques Collins and the late Geneviève Lemieux married Marie Magdeleine Proux adult daughter of Louis Proux and Ursule Fournier. Witnesses included the bride's father and several brothers of the couple. Only the bride could sign the register. [2]
François Collin, 78 year old husband of Magdeleine Proulx, died 31 Jul 1856 and was buried in Montmagny (St-Thomas) cemetery on 2 Aug 1856. [3]
