Alexander S. Anderson was born in 1854. He was the son of Edmund Winston Anderson and Elizabeth Tatum.^[1][2]

There are 2 men named Alexander S. Anderson born about the same time living in Wilkes County, Georgia, with different parents. This is not the Alexander that died in 1935 and was buried in the Anderson Family Cemetery. Census records show a Alexander S, Anderson, unmarried, in Pulaski County, Arkansas in 1910 and 1920 from Georgia. This seems to be the correct Alexander.^[3][4]
