Biography

Asahel Castle was born, married, and raised his family in Waterbury, Connecticut. In 1745, at the age of 19, he married Deborah Allen, age 17 or 18^[1],^[2]. Their family grew to include 5 sons and 2 daughters. Asahel and Deborah both died in Northbury, Connecticut, she in 1783 at the age of 55 or 56, and he in 1787 at the age of 62.
